I’d heard a little bit of buzz about Everlusting Life, but I actually tried my best not to read any details before playing it for myself. The battles of Everlusting Life play out automatically. Instead of selecting different attacks every round, your job is mainly to assemble the right team of maidens to trounce your enemy. As a new player, I often just clicked the Best button to automatically select my most powerful broads, though I wondered how well that strategy would work as the difficulty increased.
Building My Harem of Warrior Babes
After winning a few easy early battles, Everlasting Life let me pick another reward from my growing stable of hentai girls. To make matters worse, those same games will often cripple the whole thing for cheapskates, making it damn near impossible to progress without pumping the machine full of quarters.
Everlusting Life, on the other hand, feels legitimately free to play. While an occasional stray click would lead me to a purchase page as I was exploring, I played for at least an hour without officially being offered something to buy. It was finally Ophelia in the summon shop that made me an offer. I could wait 24 hours for a freebie, or I could spend some real dollars to get at those girls sooner. Prices start at just two bucks, but as elsewhere, the bigger bundles will get you further, faster. I always feel like there’s a balance for gamers to make here. Some dudes get impatient and would rather pay to progress faster, but I prefer to keep my spending limited and enjoy the rewards as they come. That feels more like winning to me, but of course, sometimes you have to listen to your boner.
